Akon was born in 14 october 1981 in Dakar Senegal, better known on stage name Akon and a hip hop singer, his first album was Lock Up and the owner of convict live.
In December Akon's "SMACK THAT" was nominated for best rap/sung collaboration at the 9th annual Grammy awards.
